Youth and women empowerment (YAWE)

Youth and women empowerment (YAWE) is the programs established on the ground of understanding the central role of youth and women in society especially on bringing stability, process and long-term development of nations.

Also, youth and women as well their children are the ones commonly facing the problems that include among others being discriminated, poverty, food insecurity, gender inequality, ill-health, illiteracy, incapacitation, ignorance and poor health that endanger their domination in the development and humanitarian efforts.

Economic Empowerment,

Igambilo youth organization working with youth and women by enabling them to access financial services, building their knowledge and skills on entrepreneurship, employ ability, business management, leadership and innovation skills that can give women and youth greater confidence and control over their future, making a shaky outlook a lot brighter.

Agriculture

Igamblo youth organization   working to reduce poverty by helping farmers to grow more, sell more and sell for more. With our help, rural families are growing their incomes while also protecting their local environment for generations to come..

We help rural communities   growing  crops to increase the quality and quantity of what they produce and build their links to markets, while protecting the environment for years to come.

WATER, SANITATION AND HYGIENE (WASH)

Clean drinking water and sanitation are human rights, we’re committed to making sure improved water, sanitation, and hygiene services are sustainable for the long term, and not just for today.

We partner with local leaders, communities, and governments to implement the solutions that are right for them, and then we provide the tools to make sure water, sanitation, and hygiene services last for generations to come

EDUCATION

Education means the future our focus is on education  and training as key to economic development and prosperity. Our program  uses various approaches including; strengthening the school clubs to deliver SRHR, child rights, life-skills and self-esteem education sessions among club members.

Also, building the capacity of parents, teachers and school board committees to ensure that child protection is integrated and upheld in the school governing systems. 

WATER FOR SCHOOLS INITIATIVE

The Water for Schools initiative aims to promote improved conditions for education and health through the installation of rainwater harvesting systems. The objective of this program is to provide safe drinking water at schools through rainwater harvesting systems and installation of water storage tanks in schools

The program will allow school children to spend more time in class instead of collecting water. The programs have a strong educational component and aim to empower the wider community with rain water harvesting techniques

VOCATION TRAINIG PROGARAM

Igambilo youth  organization strategy for 2020 –  2025   is focused on the creation of jobs for young people in Tanzania. Igambilo youth organization is offering vocational and skills training course aims to increase youth and women employment and income generation. This project is part of a larger programme which increases youth participation in economics development.  Since 2018 the organization has a provides

vocational training and social activities for people with little or no education. The aim of this project is to give approximately who have little or no education (especially women and young people) a vocational training course with the choice between soap making, sewing machine carpenters, hairdressing, and computer lessons. Children, young people and women receive guidance help then to manage their business and become more resilient

Community  vegetable Gardens

The objective of this program is to establish and assist in the management of a sustainable vegetable garden in order to produce a range of vegetables sufficient to feed all the community.

We train farmers in our signature methodology: the Forest Garden Approach. Emphasizing agroforestry and thoughtful land management, we give farmers the resources and knowledge they need to succeed. The project’s overall goal is aimed at promoting nutrition, food security, health knowledge and good vegetable production practice in the community and schools.
